Alex
I founded Passione Italiana in 2001 to share my passion for Italy. I have been teaching Italian since 2004 both privately to individuals and small groups, and also for my local Adult College.
Having grown up with both English and Italian, I am fascinated by the curious linguistic links between the two languages. I am passionate about education and love sharing my “passione” with my students.
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, Level 3 Assessor Certificate and Qualified Teaching Learning and Skills (QTLS) status.
Marta
Italian is in my blood and teaching is in my heart. I’ve been teaching Italian since 2004. My passion to travel and to share my language and culture has taken me to the US and the UK. In this time, I’ve clocked up a lot of experience teaching multilingual groups and one-to-one courses.
By planning my lessons around the learners’ needs, I’ve helped students reach a variety of goals from formal examinations and business communication to travel and the joy of simply learning my beautiful language.
Qualifications: Degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, Certificate in Italian Language Teaching to Adults with the Communicative Approach (CILTA), Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
Silvia
I was born and raised in Milan. I grew up in the kitchen watching my mum and my grandmother while they prepared all our lunches and dinners. One of my earliest memories is of me on the kitchen floor, covered in flour!
I love tradition and believe in a healthy (and tasty) lifestyle. I enjoy taking famous recipes and changing some ingredients to make them even healthier. I also try to transform classic Italian dishes into vegan alternatives.
Daniela
Languages are my passion. I have been teaching Italian since 2001 and worked as an Italian teacher in Italy, England, Mexico, Central Asia and Africa.
Over the years I have learnt that to learn (and also to teach) a foreign language effectively, the right atmosphere is essential and as a teacher I should always try to create that “comfort zone” feeling where everybody feels safe and at ease in experimenting with the language.
Qualifications: Master Degree in Translation, Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Certificate in Teaching Italian (CEDILS).
Cristina
I have been teaching Italian since 2008 and during the years I gained experience with multilingual groups and one-to-one courses at all levels, corporate courses, and exam preparation classes.
Teaching for me is also learning, having the opportunity to receive what the students feel like sharing in class. Each lesson is a continuous fun and enriching exchange!

Stefania
I have been teaching Italian since 2006. I’ve taught students in Russia and in Milan, managing multilingual groups from complete beginners to advanced, one-to-one corporate classes, and exam preparation courses.
Teaching Italian is my passion. I love the cultural exchange, showing my students the beauty of my language, the Italian culture and learning from them at the same time.

I started to really love Italy the precise moment I found myself living in a country very far from it. That distance, brought me even closer to my language and my culture, which I have been teaching with passion since 2009! I like to use different approaches based on the needs of my students.
